Who are you?

Hi! I'm Melissa DiPaola, a new mom, photographer, music lover, amateur cook, and craft enthusiast. I graduated some years back from the Maine College of Art with a BFA in photography. I am currently living in the Boston area with my lovely husband, our baby girl, our two cats, a large amount of photographs, albums and camping gear. 

What are your favorite kinds of crafts to make?

I like making functional crafts. Knitted items like hats, socks, plant hangers... I'm also a big paper enthusiast. I'll jump on any and every opportunity to make an invitation or birthday card. I like to think I have some graphic design inclinations, but you know how that goes.


What inspires you?

People!, most music, food, floral patterns, cookbooks, vintage dresses, colorful gardens, birthdays, road trips, magazines, farms, sequins, summer + bare feet, nail polish, sisters, suburbs, pies, adopted families, old photographs, nic-nacs, other photographers, a good book, purple, kids' books, turquoise, and yarn.

Where do you see all this going?

To be honest, I'm not really sure yet. I'll keep you updated
